Covid 19
In line with HSE Guidelines there is controlled access to the Surgery building.
At Bachelors Walk Surgery we want to deal with all your health needs and most of our services are running, Our Nurses continue to offer Vaccinations, Smears, Dressings and other nursing services. However due to ever changing infection rates in our community, services may have to be curtailed for periods of time, to protect both Patients and Staff.
If you are entering the practice please wear a face mask covering your mouth and noseat all times, Face Masks are a requirement for all Adults and older Children.
We request that patients attend on their own apart from children or patients who require the assistance of family or carer.
Symptoms of Covid 19 infection include, a sudden onset cough, fever, breathing difficulty or loss of taste or smell. If you develop any of these symptoms please contact our surgery for advice. You may be referred for a Covid 19 swab, referred to one of the HSE Covid 19 hubs or seen at our surgery.
If you are referred for the test, you will need to self isolate while awaiting the result.

The result of your Covid 19 test will usually be texted to your mobile phone within three days. If you have not received your test result within this time frame, please fill out the missing test result online form which you can access by clicking here.
If the result of you Covid 19 test is positive, you will be contacted by HSE Contract Tracing who will be seeking details of all the people you were in contact with over the previous two days. If you are using the Covid tracker App on your phone this job will be a lot easier.
According to our Public Health Directives the Doctors are not in a position to provide letters of exemption from the wearing of masks.
